About Us

The Sisters here in Bristol live between extremes - we have such poverty and noise on our doorstep and yet round the corner is beauty and the clearly more affluent.

In the early 1990's four Sisters from our Community moved to Ashley Road and we have had a presence here ever since. As part of our lives of prayer and active service, Sisters began giving out small food parcels to about 12 people a week - this has now grown to 250-300 a week!

We are now a smaller household but with a big heart and a cat in residence.

We try to offer a three fold office of prayer, our usual pattern is Morning Office, Evening Office and Compline. We do have a lovely small chapel and are able to have a Eucharist most Tuesday mornings and occasional Thursday evenings.

We are involved with St Agnes, our local parish church, All Saints Clifton, we are invited to preach in many other churches, school assembly opportunities come along occasionally as well as giving talks to other groups.

Our main focus and ministry is that of the Loaves and Fishes...
